With BAMF Health's revolutionary molecular imaging device from United Imaging, the uEXPLORER^®, a prostate cancer patient's hope was renewed.

He had undergone 27 needle biopsies in four years and the cancer cells had already metastasized throughout his body. At their state-of-the-art facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, BAMF Health tested PSMA-PET scanning based on uEXPLORER and a new tracer. With a shorter scan time and lower tracer dose, and the total-body imaging capabilities of uEXPLORER, BAMF Health’s screening and evaluation illuminated the path for them to provide precise treatment. These capabilities are also empowering further theranostics research for prostate cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, cardiovascular diseases and neurodegenerative diseases.
